The Idea

• Visit a local skate park in Brooklyn, NY and collect black and white frames to test drive a new film camera.
• The goal was to get out of the comfort zone and asking people for personal portrait work.

The Process

• Curate inspirations through Pinterest and work through some more manageable approaches for this being a first pass at something like this.
• Work and manage timing and tone with subjects without getting in the way of why they were there.
• Manage equipment of the Mamiya RB67 and use a light meter app on my iPhone to properly expose each image.
